Do the cups fit smoothly?

If the cup is not filled out, you may need a smaller size. If there is overflow at the top or at the underarms, you may want to try a larger cup size or a fuller shape bra for more coverage.

How often should I check my bra size?Does the center seam lie against the breastbone, without gaps between cups?

You should try a larger size or maybe a different style. The cup of the bra is too small if it pulls away and does not lie flat.

Do the breasts seem pushed out to the sides or toward the center?

You may need to try a larger cup or different style.

Is the bottom of the bra, front and back, straight or slightly lower in the back?

The lower edge of the band should anchor below the shoulder blades. The lower the back fits, the more support you get.
top

Can you run your finger under the band in front?

It should be snug, but not tight. If it's tight, you need a larger band size, or a looser hook placement.

Does the back of bra ride up?
  1. Slip the strapsover your shoulder.
  2. Bend forward at the waist, and ease your breasts naturally into the cups. Adjust your breasts so the nipples are centered into the fullest point of the cup. The cup should completely contain the breast (with the exception of push-up styles).
  3. Hook the closure at the middle position.
  4. Stand upright. Adjust the straps so the breasts are at a comfortable and attractive height. Ensure that the back adjustment is snug without being too tight.

The cups of my bra wrinkle. Why don't they fit smoothly?

Cups should completely contain each breast.
top

Bulges at the top or sides of the cup?

The cup is too small.
top

Wrinkles in the cup?

The bra is too large.

I have a difficult time getting the right size because one of my breasts is larger than the other. Any suggestions?

All women have one breast that is larger than the other does. Sometimes the difference is noticeable, most often it isn't. If the difference is significant, try a bra with stretch fabric in the cup or a bra with fiberfill. Also, you can adjust the strap so the larger breast is looser than the smaller breast strap. Always fit the cup size to the fuller breast first.

My bra is very uncomfortable, cutting and binding when I move. Is it the wrong size?

Maybe. Hook the back closure less tightly or try the next larger band size. Also, if your bra has narrow sides, it may be the wrong style for you. Try a bra with wider sides.

I bulge over the top and sides of my bra. What's the solution?

First check to make sure you are in the right size. Either have a measurement taken or check the size or your bra. You may need a larger cup size. Or maybe you actually need a bra for fuller shapes in the size you are currently wearing.

My bra rides up in the back. What's wrong?

Try hooking your bra more snugly or loosening the straps. If neither works, the band size may be too large, so try the next smaller size.
top

My straps keep falling off my shoulders. What should I do?

The cups may be too big. Since you're not filling out the top of the cup, your straps slide down your shoulder. Try a smaller cup size.

I've just noticed these stretch marks running up and down my bust. What's going on?

Those stretch marks can be caused by not wearing a bra or wearing one with loose support. The bust tissue is breaking down and the bust is dangling - hence, the stretch marks. The remedy is to wear a well constructed, supportive bra. However, note that even a smaller bust can get stretch marks if the right bra isn't worn.

Underwire bras can be so uncomfortable - poking on the sides and pressuring my rib cage. What can I do?

Make sure you're wearing the right size and support level for your figure. A cup size that is too small places the end of the underwire right on the tender breast tissue, so you may need a larger cup size. Some full-breasted women experience poking on the sides, even when wearing the correct size.

Is there a right way to put on panties?

Yes. Step into the panty and pull it up to the correct position on your body, centering yourself to ensure the crotch is pulled forward. Run your fingers around the leg openings from the front to the back seat, placing the back seat to cup the buttocks. Then run your fingers around the waistband to set it evenly around the waist.
top

I'm not sure where the crotch is supposed to fit.

The crotch should fit naturally against the body, without binding or excessive fabric at the front or back. Pull the panty forward so that the front crotch seam is showing - it shouldn't slip backwards.

The waistband keeps bunching up and rolling over. But it fits well across the backside. What should I do?

You're probably wearing the wrong style or size. The waist should be snug, but not binding and stay in place comfortably. You should also be able to pull on the panty easily over your hips. Try a smaller size or different style. .
top

The legs of my panties are really binding - I even get grooves along my thighs. What are my alternatives?

Legs should not cut or bind at the thigh. Then check how you're wearing your panty - are the leg openings arched evenly from side to side? Is the fabric skewed or bunched? If you're wearing the panty properly and it's still uncomfortable, try a hi cut style.
top

My panties keep riding up. I can't keep ducking into closets to tug them into place, so what can I do?

Get the right size! A proper fit means the panty is balanced and symmetrical, cupping the buttocks evenly.
top

When is it time to replace my panties?

Yes. Step into the panty and pull it up to the correct position on your body, centering yourself to ensure the crotch is pulled forward. Run your fingers around the leg openings from the front to the back seat, placing the back seat to cup the buttocks. Then run your fingers around the waistband to set it evenly around the waist.
top

Is there a right way to put on panties?

If the leg bands or waistbands are stretched out. If the panty constantly rides up or just doesn't fit the way it used to. If the material at the seams or in the body is frayed. If you'd be really embarrassed if you were in an accident and had to go to the hospital in those things!
